Did you know that before mankind took to the skies in planes, people used the the term “bird’s eye” to refer to views drawn from an imaginary perspective rather than direct observation?

Before modern high rises and flight technology, the bird’s eye view was pure imagination.

For this full apartment remodel in a Northern New Jersey high rise apartment building, we helped a couple to transform their newly-acquired space before they made the move from their prior apartment in Brooklyn.

We chronicled the early stages of this renovation in Project in Process: Bird’s Eye View: Northern New Jersey Apartment Remodel.

As you can see, we’ve come a long way from the before photo to the survey measurements and 3D drawings to the finished space!
